Michal Sela Forum Founder Lili Ben Ami Joins Yisrael Beiteinu Party

Yisrael Beiteinu announced the addition of Lili Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum, to its ranks. Ben Ami stated she joined the party because of Avigdor Lieberman's strong leadership, extensive experience, courage, innovative thinking, and proven execution abilities. She expressed confidence that together they would strengthen Israel and lead it to excel in security, innovation, education, and mutual responsibility.

Ben Ami established the Michal Sela Forum following the brutal murder of her sister in 2019. She is a sought-after lecturer in Israel and internationally, served as a national spokesperson at the outbreak of Operation Iron Swords, and has spoken at the United Nations multiple times. She has ten years of public service experience, including leading a municipal faction in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council.

Additionally, Ben Ami founded and manages Israel’s first university-affiliated daycare network, the Coalition for Direct Employment in Education, and the WIZO Jerusalem Leadership Center. Her contributions have earned her numerous awards, including Forbes PowerWomen ranking, the Rappaport Prize, and the Peace and Innovation Center’s Knight Award. She holds a master's degree in education with honors from the Hebrew University.

Ben Ami lives in Beit Zayit, a fourth-generation resident of the moshav, is married with three sons, one serving in the IDF, and her family also supports a lone combat soldier. This development follows other recent Yisrael Beiteinu additions, such as Sharon Sharabi, highlighting the party’s evolving profile beyond traditional right-wing politics.
