Lily Ben Ami Joins Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu to Strengthen Israel's Security and Innovation

Lily Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum, announced on Wednesday her decision to join Yisrael Beiteinu, led by Avigdor Lieberman. Ben Ami emphasized the need for leadership connected to the public that decisively addresses Israel's many challenges, stating, "There is no such thing as 'impossible.'" She highlighted her extensive experience managing teams of top experts to solve seemingly unsolvable problems, particularly in security and technology, and expressed confidence in Israel's potential to lead globally in these areas.

Ben Ami explained her choice to join Yisrael Beiteinu by praising Lieberman as a strong leader with vast experience, courage, innovative thinking, and proven execution abilities. She said, "Together we will strengthen our country and lead it to be first in security, innovation, education, and mutual responsibility."

With over two decades of experience in personal security, innovation, and education, Ben Ami has dedicated her life to saving lives and developing smart solutions to prevent violence against women and enhance home security, following the tragic murder of her sister Michal Sela in 2019. That same year, she was placed 22nd on the Labor Party list under then-chair Avi Gabbay. She founded and managed a nationally recognized organization that annually assists thousands of families, develops advanced personal security technologies, and creates educational tools that have reached millions of households. Under her leadership, innovative security programs have prevented murders, and she has championed legislation to revoke guardianship from parents who commit or attempt serious crimes within the family.
