Lily Ben Ami Joins Yisrael Beiteinu Following Sister Michal Sela's Murder
Lily Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum, announced her decision to join the Yisrael Beiteinu party. The forum was established in memory of her sister, Michal Sela, who was brutally murdered in 2019. Since then, Ben Ami has dedicated her life to saving lives and developing numerous smart solutions to prevent violence against women and enhance home security.
Ben Ami lives in the Beit Zayit moshav, where she is a fourth-generation resident. She is married and a mother of three sons, with her eldest son serving in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Additionally, her family supports a lone female combat soldier in the IDF as foster parents.
In her statement, Ben Ami expressed her motivation for joining Yisrael Beiteinu, saying, "I chose to join Yisrael Beiteinu because Avigdor Lieberman is a strong leader. Together, we will strengthen our country and lead it to what it needs to be."
