Michal Sela Forum Founder Lili Ben Ami Joins Yisrael Beiteinu and Supports Avigdor Lieberman

Lili Ben Ami, founder of the Michal Sela Forum and sister of the late Michal Sela, announced on Tuesday her decision to join the Yisrael Beiteinu party and endorse its leader, Avigdor Lieberman. Ben Ami established the forum following her sister's murder in 2019 and has since been active in promoting initiatives to prevent domestic violence and enhance women's personal security.

In her public activism, Ben Ami collaborated with Yisrael Beiteinu MK Oded Forer to advance legislation that strips parental rights from a parent convicted of murder, attempted murder, or sexual assault within the family. Beyond her advocacy against violence toward women, she previously served as an elected official in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council, acted as a national spokesperson during the Iron Swords conflict, and has spoken multiple times at the United Nations. She holds a master's degree in education from the Hebrew University.

Ben Ami stated that she joined Yisrael Beiteinu because she views Lieberman as an experienced leader with strong execution capabilities. The party welcomed her joining, emphasizing her role as a significant supporter of Lieberman. The announcement was factual and refrained from political campaign messaging or assertions presented as facts.
