Massive Fire Forces Closure of Highway 6 Near Ben Shemen Forest
A large wildfire is rapidly spreading in an open area near the Ben Shemen Forest, close to Highway 6 in Israel. Fourteen firefighting teams, supported by four firefighting aircraft, are actively working to contain the blaze, which is advancing quickly due to strong winds. As a result of the fire, Highway 6 has been closed in both directions near the Daniel Interchange. The Israel Fire and Rescue Services have urged the public to avoid the area and follow instructions from security and emergency personnel to ensure safety.
