Hapoel Tel Aviv Negotiates to Sign Red Star Belgrade Winger Douglas Aveso
Hapoel Tel Aviv is currently negotiating with Douglas Aveso, a 20-year-old right winger from Red Star Belgrade, as a potential replacement for Loizos Loizou. Aveso, who was acquired by Red Star in January for 2.5 million euros, is highly interested in joining Hapoel Tel Aviv, and his agent is en route to facilitate the transfer. The two clubs are in active talks regarding the deal. According to Transfermarkt, Aveso is valued at 4.5 million euros. Earlier this year, he nearly transferred to Viktoria Plzen for 3.3 million euros, but the move fell through due to failed medical tests. Since joining Red Star from Serbian club Radnik, Aveso has scored two goals and provided one assist. This potential transfer follows the sale of Loizos Loizou in the opposite direction during the summer. Hapoel Tel Aviv aims to finalize the deal as negotiations continue.
