Two-Year-Old Toddler Drowns in Private Pool Near Jerusalem, Condition Critical
A two-year-old toddler drowned in a private pool at a vacation home in the Mateh Yehuda Regional Council area near Jerusalem on Monday. Rescue teams arrived promptly and performed resuscitation efforts on the child, who was unconscious when pulled from the pool in the Shdot Micha moshav.
Emergency medical personnel from United Hatzalah reported that the toddler was found unresponsive and underwent CPR at the scene before being airlifted by helicopter to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in critical condition. Magen David Adom paramedics also provided advanced life support during transport.
The incident remains under investigation, and the child's condition is described as life-threatening. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as the toddler receives intensive care.
