Two-Year-Old Toddler Drowns in Private Herzliya Pool, Condition Critical
A two-year-old toddler was rushed to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba in critical condition after drowning in a private pool in Herzliya on Saturday evening. Emergency teams from Magen David Adom arrived quickly at the scene, providing life-saving medical treatment on site before transporting the child to the hospital while he was unconscious. Upon arrival at Meir Medical Center, the toddler was immediately treated in the emergency pediatric department, sedated, intubated, and transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit for further treatment. Paramedics Idan Shina, Said Matar, and Mohammad Matar described the dramatic rescue, noting the child was found unconscious at the poolside after being pulled from the water. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
