Heatwave Eases in Israel with Cooler Temperatures Expected Through Midweek

While it remains hotter than usual, especially in the mountainous regions and inland areas where the weather is still described as hot to sweltering, coastal areas are enjoying milder conditions. Tuesday will see partly cloudy to clear skies in the morning, with the cooling trend continuing and further temperature decreases mainly in the mountains and inland. Despite this, these areas will still experience above-average heat for the season, while the coastal plain remains pleasant. By Wednesday, after morning clouds dissipate, temperatures will drop slightly again, especially in the mountains and inland, though they will remain somewhat higher than typical for this time of year. The coastal plain will continue to enjoy comfortable weather.

Forecasted temperatures for Monday include Jerusalem at 22-33°C, Tel Aviv at 27-33°C, Haifa at 26-32°C, Kiryat Shmona at 24-38°C, Safed at 24-35°C, Tiberias at 25-39°C, Ashdod at 26-33°C, Beersheba at 24-37°C, Mitzpe Ramon at 25-35°C, and Eilat at 31-42°C. The overall weather pattern indicates a gradual easing of the heatwave but with persistent above-average temperatures inland and in the mountains through midweek.
