Man Shot Dead in Netivot Parking Lot; Another Injured in Ongoing Police Investigation
A man in his 40s was fatally shot late Saturday evening in a parking lot in Netivot. The incident occurred at 21:37, when the victim was shot multiple times and died at the scene despite advanced resuscitation efforts by Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics. Concurrently, another man, aged 29, was found with a non-life-threatening injury nearby and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
MDA senior medic Uriel Cohen described the victim as unconscious, without pulse or breathing, suffering from severe penetrating wounds. Despite immediate medical intervention including bleeding control and advanced resuscitation, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The injured man was discovered during searches of nearby buildings and received initial treatment before hospital transfer.
The Israel Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the shooting. Officers from the Netivot police station are collecting evidence at the scene and conducting extensive searches to locate suspects involved in the deadly attack.
