Gaza Peace Council Releases Trump Plan Roadmap Linking Disarmament to Israeli Withdrawal
The Gaza Peace Council has published a framework to implement U.S. President Donald Trump's plan for the Gaza Strip, described as a "roadmap." According to the published principles, within 14 days, a schedule and implementation mechanisms for the roadmap will be established. Following this, a National Committee for Gaza Management, referred to as the "Technocrats Government," will be formed to govern the area.
Subsequently, an "International Stabilization Force" will be deployed. The plan also initiates a process to decommission and store heavy weapons, weapons manufacturing sites, arms depots, and tunnels. This disarmament process is explicitly linked to a gradual Israeli withdrawal from areas under its control in Gaza and the disarmament of armed militias supported by Israel.
