Man in His 60s Rescued in Critical Condition After Drowning at Bat Yam Beach
Rescue teams were called to Bat Yam beach on Friday following reports of a man in his 60s drowning while swimming. Upon being pulled from the water, the man was found without pulse and not breathing. Lifeguards at the scene extracted him from the sea and handed him over to emergency medical personnel.
United Hatzalah responders, including Bat Yam branch head Shmuel Malka and medics Yaakov Ladkani and Orel Zada, arrived to find the man in critical condition with no signs of life. They immediately began prolonged resuscitation efforts. After initial treatment on site, the man was transported to the hospital under continued resuscitation, with his condition described as critical and life-threatening.
The rescue teams acted swiftly and professionally in their attempts to save the man’s life, but as of the latest reports, his condition remains dire.
