60-Year-Old Man Drowns Near Bat Yam Beach, Remains in Critical Condition
A man in his 60s was pulled from the water near Sunset Beach in Bat Yam without a pulse or breathing. Rescue teams from United Hatzalah performed CPR on the man at the scene before transporting him to the hospital while continuing resuscitation efforts.
Shmuel Malka, head of the Bat Yam branch of United Hatzalah, along with medics Yaakov Ladkani and Orel Zada, reported that the man was rescued from the water by lifeguards and that they immediately began life-saving procedures. The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
