Man in His 60s Drowns Near Neve Yam Beach, Hospitalized in Serious Condition
A man in his 60s drowned near Neve Yam beach and was rescued from the water by emergency medical teams. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided urgent medical treatment at the scene, including sedation and ventilation, before transporting him by intensive care ambulance to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The man was unconscious when found close to the shoreline and remains in serious condition. MDA paramedics Tom Retting, Vicky Khalwani, and Chai Taktes reported that he was unresponsive upon rescue and required immediate advanced medical intervention. Rambam Hospital is currently treating the patient following the emergency response.
