Several People Bitten by Jackals Near Doga Beach in the Sea of Galilee
A 12-year-old girl, two men in their 30s, and a woman about 40 were lightly injured after what appears to have been jackal bites near Doga Beach on the Sea of Galilee. They were evacuated by Magen David Adom crews to the Northern Medical Center (Poriya) in Tiberias, all with bite marks.
Magen David Adom later said three additional people were also evacuated in mild condition. Two more people received treatment at the scene but did not need to be taken to a hospital.
The report does not say exactly when the incident occurred, but it took place near the Doga Beach area on the lake shore. All of the injured were listed as being in light condition.
