Israeli Air Force Kills Islamic Jihad Commander Involved in October 7 Kidnappings

The Israeli Air Force eliminated Muhammad Khalil Muhammad Aslam, a battalion commander in the Islamic Jihad's Nukhba unit, during an operation near Khan Yunis on Monday. Aslam commanded a terrorist cell involved in the abduction of Israeli civilians during the deadly October 7 attack. The IDF stated that Aslam had recently been advancing terror activities aimed at harming Israeli soldiers and civilians.

On Sunday, Israeli forces, in coordination with the Shin Bet, killed Wael Musa Khaled Laddawi, head of the Islamic Jihad's internal security apparatus in the central Gaza Strip refugee camps. This security branch plays a critical intelligence role within Hamas's terror infrastructure, gathering and relaying information to senior leadership to plan attacks against Israel.

Additionally, the IDF killed Maam Eid, commander of the Hamas military wing's drone unit in the central camps. Eid was responsible for manufacturing drones intended to target Israeli civilians and soldiers. Previously, he led drone squads involved in attacks against the IDF and recently attempted to rebuild Hamas's aerial capabilities, violating the ceasefire agreement.
