Israeli Forces Kill Hamas Commander Involved in October 7 Attack and Senior Islamic Jihad Operative

Israeli military forces have eliminated two senior militants in Gaza linked to recent terror activities against Israel. On Thursday, Ibrahim Nabil Ibrahim Bass, a commander in Hamas's military wing who actively participated in the October 7 attack on southern Israeli communities, was killed during a targeted operation in the Shati area. Concurrently, Hamdi Ahmed Hamad Kahil, head of the observation unit in Islamic Jihad, was also killed in a separate strike in the Zabarah area.

Both individuals were reportedly responsible for planning and advancing terror operations against Israeli security forces and civilians in recent times. They were also involved in rebuilding terror cells, violating ceasefire agreements systematically. The Israeli Southern Command stated these strikes were conducted to neutralize immediate threats, emphasizing ongoing deployments and operations to counter all security risks in the region in accordance with existing agreements.

These actions reflect Israel's continued efforts to dismantle terror infrastructure in Gaza following the deadly October 7 attacks, aiming to prevent further assaults on Israeli territory and civilians.
