IDF Kills Hamas Commander Involved in October 7 Massacre in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted targeted strikes in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, eliminating a Hamas military commander involved in the October 7 massacre. The commander led a Nukhba unit within Hamas's military wing and actively promoted terrorist operations against IDF forces throughout the ongoing conflict. His activities posed an immediate threat to Israeli troops.

In a separate operation in the Al-Maghazi area, the IDF targeted Ismail Abu Foul, who commanded a Hamas weapons manufacturing site. Abu Foul was directly involved in assembling explosives and anti-tank missiles for Hamas. His killing aimed to neutralize a tangible security threat. Concurrently, the weapons production site was destroyed.

Investigations revealed that the manufacturing facility was located near a humanitarian aid distribution point operated by an international organization. The IDF highlighted this as another example of Hamas systematically using civilian infrastructure, including humanitarian aid centers, as cover for terrorist activities against Israeli soldiers and civilians near the Gaza border and within Israel.
