IDF and Shin Bet Kill Two Hamas Militants Involved in October 7 Massacre in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet have eliminated two Hamas military wing operatives in a joint operation in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. The militants, members of the Nukhba unit, participated in the deadly attack on the Re'im military base on October 7. The first strike, conducted earlier this week, killed Hazem Musa, who was involved in the raid on the base during the massacre. The second strike targeted Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shakhma, also a Nukhba operative who took part in the Re'im attack and previously served as the bodyguard for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

According to the Israeli security apparatus, both militants had recently been involved in planning terrorist activities against Israeli civilians and IDF forces. They were also working to restore Hamas's operational capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire terms. The operation aimed to neutralize the immediate threat posed by their ongoing activities.
