IDF Kills Islamic Jihad Commander Behind October 7 Terror Cell in Khan Yunis
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed the killing of Muhammad Khalil Muhammad Aslam, the commander of the Nukhba unit in the Islamic Jihad, during an operation in the Khan Yunis area on Monday. Aslam led a terrorist cell involved in the abduction of Israeli civilians during the October 7 massacre. In recent times, he had been orchestrating terror plans targeting both IDF forces and Israeli civilians. The IDF spokesperson stated that Aslam posed an immediate threat and was eliminated in a precise airstrike. Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under the current agreement and will continue efforts to neutralize any immediate threats.
