IDF Kills Terror Commander Involved in Kidnappings During October 7 Attacks

The Israel Defense Forces announced on Friday that they killed Ahmad Hassin Muhammad Kafina, the commander of the Central Camps area for the terrorist group Kataeb al-Mujahedin, in southern Gaza Strip. The targeted airstrike took place earlier this week. According to the IDF, Kafina participated in the militant raid into Israeli territory during the October 7 attacks, was involved in the abductions of Noa Argamani and Avintan Or, and directed the kidnapping of Sudisak Rintalak.

The IDF further stated that throughout the ongoing conflict and in recent times, Kafina was actively planning terrorist operations against Israeli forces and civilians. He was considered an immediate threat to Israeli troops and was eliminated in a precise airstrike. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area according to existing agreements and will continue efforts to neutralize threats to Israeli citizens and military personnel.
