IDF Confirms Killing of Terror Commander Involved in October 7 Kidnappings

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially confirmed the killing of Ahmad Hassin Muhammad Kafina, the regional commander of the Central Camps for the terrorist group Kataeb al-Mujahedin. Kafina was killed last Tuesday in an airstrike in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, he orchestrated and directed the October 7 raid by militants into Israeli territory, which resulted in a massacre. He was also involved in the abduction of hostages Avintan Or and Noa Argamani, as well as in directing the kidnapping of Sudisak Rintalak.

The IDF spokesperson stated that throughout the ongoing conflict and recently, Kafina promoted terror attacks against Israeli forces and civilians, posing an immediate threat. His elimination was carried out through a precise aerial strike. The Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements and will continue operations to neutralize all threats.
