IDF Kills Gaza Supply Unit Commander Involved in October 7 Kidnapping Attack
The Israel Defense Forces announced the killing of Tarek Anwar Hamis Ra'i, a platoon commander in the supply unit of the Gaza-based terrorist group, during an operation in Khan Yunis on Sunday. According to the IDF, Ra'i was involved in the October 7 massacre at Kibbutz Be'eri, where he participated in the abduction of an Israeli civilian. The military stated that in recent times, Ra'i had been orchestrating terror activities against Israeli forces and civilians. The targeted strike aimed to eliminate the immediate threat he posed. The IDF Southern Command forces remain deployed in the area under existing agreements and will continue operations to neutralize any imminent dangers.
