Beitar Jerusalem Warned Against Pyrotechnics Ahead of Match in Larnaca
Ahead of their Thursday evening match against AEK Larnaca in Romania, Beitar Jerusalem issued a statement to their fans outlining Romanian police requirements. The club emphasized that the use of pyrotechnic devices such as flares, firecrackers, and other incendiary materials is strictly prohibited and could result in imprisonment. Fans are also forbidden from bringing any drugs into the stadium.
Entry to the stadium will be controlled, requiring both a valid ticket and identification. Romanian police will enforce these rules, and Shin Bet agents will be present to ensure the event proceeds smoothly. Beitar Jerusalem expects over 3,000 supporters to attend, including several dozen fans from Romania and neighboring countries. Representatives from the consulate are also anticipated to be present at the match.
