Beitar Jerusalem Fans Set to Flood Bucharest for Crucial Conference League Match

Beitar Jerusalem is preparing for a pivotal second-leg match against AEK Larnaca in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers, aiming to advance to the third qualifying round. Approximately 2,500 fans are expected to travel with the team to Bucharest, with efforts underway to increase this number to around 4,000 supporters. The club has also received ticket requests from Israeli Beitar fans living in Budapest, Vienna, and Romania, making the final attendance uncertain.

Players Luka Gadrani and Tomer Yosefi have been included in the 23-man squad traveling to the match. Both participated in contact training, though their playing time is likely limited to substitute roles, particularly in midfield. Coach Almog Cohen faces a tactical decision on whether to maintain the winning lineup from the first leg in Cyprus or to introduce Ziv Ben Shimol in place of Noam Motta.

Several players, including Ilai Hajaj, Ravid Abergil, and Ailson Tavares, will remain in Israel to continue rehabilitation and training under the supervision of coaches and physiotherapists, supporting the recovery of Adi Yona. Foreign players were briefed on the extraordinary fan enthusiasm, highlighting that Beitar Jerusalem has never reached the group stage of a European competition, unlike some rival Israeli clubs.
