Beitar Jerusalem Warns Fans to Avoid Disturbances Ahead of Romania Match

Beitar Jerusalem issued a set of strict guidelines to its fans ahead of the upcoming second-leg match against AEK Larnaca in Bucharest on Thursday. The club expressed concern over potential disciplinary action due to inappropriate fan behavior during the first leg last week, which included the arrest of two supporters and complaints from a local hotel about misconduct.

The club's statement emphasized the Romanian police's warnings, prohibiting the use of pyrotechnics, flares, fireworks, alcohol, weapons, explosives, and drugs inside the stadium, noting Romania's strict drug laws. Fans were instructed to bring their tickets and identification, comply with security checks, and avoid entering the stadium intoxicated or with covered faces.

Additional rules forbid throwing objects, entering the pitch, climbing fences, inciting disturbances, or engaging in fights. The club also banned the display of racist, offensive, or provocative flags, signs, or symbols. Beitar Jerusalem urged fans to respect security personnel and uphold the club's dignity both in Romania and worldwide.
