Palestinian Gunman Seizes Weapon and Shoots Israeli Near Gilad Farm in West Bank
Initial reports indicate a shooting attack near Gilad Farm in the West Bank's Samaria region. The incident occurred on a security-coordinated hike that started at Har Bracha and was heading toward Gilad Farm and then Kedumim. During the event, a group of Palestinians gathered around a group of Israeli hikers. A Palestinian assailant managed to seize the weapon of an Israeli security officer (Ravshatz) who had arrived at the scene, then opened fire, injuring one Israeli.
The wounded Israeli was conscious and evacuated to the "HaSela" outpost for initial medical treatment. Following the shooting, Israeli security forces and the IDF were dispatched to the area. The attack took place near the village of Tal, close to the Gilad route in Samaria. The IDF confirmed receiving reports of gunfire in the Gilad Farm area within the Samaria Brigade and stated that details are under investigation.
