Palestinians Steal Security Guard's Weapon in West Bank Shooting at Gilad Farm
On Friday morning, a shooting incident occurred near Gilad Farm in the Samaria region of the West Bank. The event began when several Israeli hikers near the village of Tal, close to a mosque, encountered Palestinians who attacked them. In response, a security guard from the nearby Gilad Farm intervened.
Around 8:20 a.m., reports came in of a shooting injury after Palestinians stole the security guard's weapon and fired towards Israeli civilians. One person was wounded but remained conscious and was treated by Magen David Adom medical teams. Israeli Defense Forces are currently investigating the incident and searching the area for any additional casualties.
Following the attack, the Israeli military imposed a closure on the village of Tal and the city of Nablus (Shechem) at several entry points. Reinforcements have been deployed to the scene as security forces continue their operations in the region.
