Israeli Security Guard Disarmed and Shot at Civilians Near West Bank Village
A serious security incident occurred on Friday morning near the West Bank village of Tel, close to the Shomron regional division. Israeli civilians walking near Tel, adjacent to the Gilad Farm, encountered Palestinians who launched attacks at two separate locations, attempting lynchings. Following reports of the assault, a security guard from Gilad Farm arrived at the scene around 08:20. The guard was attacked by Palestinians who managed to steal his personal weapon and used it to fire at Israeli civilians present, injuring one Israeli citizen. Medical teams provided initial treatment at the scene before evacuating the injured individual to a hospital for further care. The Israel Defense Forces rapidly deployed forces to the area, conducting searches and pursuing the assailants. As part of the manhunt, the village of Tel and several entrances to the city of Nablus (Shechem) were placed under lockdown.
