Israeli Settlers Shot After Palestinian Seizes Security Guard's Weapon Near Nablus

On Friday morning, Israeli settlers hiking near Nablus (Shechem) clashed with Palestinians close to the village of Tal. The confrontation escalated near the village mosque when a security guard from the Gilad Farm intervened. According to the settlers, one Palestinian seized the guard's weapon and opened fire on the Israeli civilians, resulting in four injuries, including one person in critical condition. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are investigating the incident as a suspected terror attack.

The settlers later clarified that the shooting followed an initial altercation between them and the Palestinians, sharing images from the encounter. The IDF spokesperson initially reported gunfire near Gilad Farm in the Samaria Division. Magen David Adom (MDA) medics are treating the wounded on site. Additional IDF forces have been deployed to the area, and a security cordon has been imposed on the village of Tal and the city of Nablus, restricting several entry points.
