Jerusalem Police Investigate Murder of 40-Year-Old Migrant Worker
Police in Jerusalem have launched a murder investigation after a 40-year-old migrant worker from India was found dead in an apartment in the Katamon neighborhood. Officers from the Moriah station and forensic investigators responded to the scene, where initial findings suggested a criminal motive behind the death. Within a short time, police arrested a 31-year-old suspect from Eilat believed to be involved in the murder. Jerusalem District Commander, Chief Superintendent Avshalom Peled, visited the scene to oversee the investigation and instructed that the case be handled by the Central Unit of the Jerusalem District Police for further inquiry.
