Man Found Unconscious With Injuries Dies in Carmel Home, Police Investigate
A 41-year-old man was found unconscious with bodily injuries at a home in the Hof HaCarmel Regional Council area on Thursday afternoon. Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene confirmed his death at the location. Police are investigating the incident as a potential criminal case. Zikhron Ya'akov police investigators have opened an inquiry to determine the circumstances and background of the death. Paramedic Hadas Amir reported that upon arrival, the man was found without pulse or breathing and despite medical efforts, he was declared dead.
This case follows a recent incident in Jerusalem where a 40-year-old foreign worker from India was found dead in a Katamon neighborhood apartment. Police investigations led to the arrest of a 31-year-old man from Eilat on suspicion of murder. The suspect, recently released from prison, was related to elderly individuals the foreign worker cared for. Both cases are under active police investigation to clarify the causes and any criminal involvement.
