Foreign Worker Found Dead in Jerusalem Apartment, Suspect Arrested for Murder

A 40-year-old foreign worker from India was found dead Thursday afternoon in an apartment in the Katamon neighborhood of Jerusalem. Police quickly arrived at the scene and launched an initial investigation with forensic teams. The investigation indicated a criminal motive, leading to the arrest of a 31-year-old suspect from Eilat, who was taken in for questioning. Jerusalem District Commander, Commissioner Avshalom Peled, visited the scene and directed the investigation to continue under the district's central unit. The incident was reported to Magen David Adom at 15:05, and paramedics confirmed the worker's death at the location. Paramedic Beni Kister stated that upon arrival, they found the man unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and with bodily injuries, and they had to declare him dead on site.
