Israeli Police Officer Indicted for Sexual Harassment and Abuse of Power
The Police Investigations Department (Mahash) filed an indictment on Monday against a police officer accused of sexual harassment, indecent acts, blackmail, privacy violations, impersonation, fraud, and breach of trust. The indictment, submitted to the Haifa District Court by attorney Sivan Shpeizer, alleges that the officer, who serves in the Traffic Division of the Yarkon region, exploited his position and access to police databases over several years to unlawfully obtain personal information about women and their family members. The charges detail a pattern of misconduct involving misuse of sensitive data and abuse of authority. The case is now proceeding through the judicial system in Haifa.
