El Al Launches Fly Card Promotion Offering Free Flight Ticket for New Members
El Al's frequent flyer program, Fly Card, has launched a major promotion called "Join and Fly," offering new members a free flight ticket with the purchase of a Fly Card credit card through Isracard or American Express. To qualify, new cardholders must accumulate purchases totaling 10,000 shekels by the end of November. The free ticket covers the flight itself, with only taxes payable by the passenger. Destinations include popular European cities such as Rome, Barcelona, Vienna, Prague, Budapest, and Athens.
The offer is limited to 50,000 seats and valid until August 5 or until the seats run out, whichever comes first. Fly Card is unique in Israel as the only credit card directly linked to an airline, providing exclusive benefits. Different card tiers offer varying point accumulation rates, with the Premium Select and Premium cards providing accelerated points and additional perks like diamond status upgrades and reduced foreign currency conversion fees.
Additional benefits include priority upgrades, preferred seating, discounted extra baggage, and special promotions such as 50% off point redemptions on Tuesdays and exclusive discounts at the Fly Store. Starting in 2027, a new buy-one-get-one-free flight ticket offer will be introduced. The program has seen over a billion points redeemed last year for flights, seat upgrades, and baggage, with over a million tickets purchased using points. El Al emphasizes that Fly Card holders truly benefit from flying privileges.
The promotion encourages immediate sign-ups to take advantage of the limited seats and exclusive rewards, making it an attractive offer for frequent travelers and those planning trips abroad.
