Inter Nears Agreement to Sign Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily Before Preseason Camp

Inter Milan is close to finalizing a major transfer deal to sign 21-year-old Israeli winger Anan Khalaily from Belgian club Saint-Gilloise. Following a breakthrough season at Saint-Gilloise, Khalaily is set to join one of Europe's top football clubs, with Inter eager to complete the deal before their upcoming preseason training camp. This timing would allow Inter's coach, Christian Kivuo, to integrate Khalaily into the team's system and adapt him to Italian football.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Inter and Khalaily have already agreed on a five-year contract worth an annual salary of 1.8 million euros. The current negotiations are between Inter and Saint-Gilloise, with Inter preparing to submit an offer estimated at around 25 million euros including bonuses. However, Saint-Gilloise is expected to demand 30 million euros, partly because they must pay 15% of the transfer fee to Israeli club Maccabi Haifa.

Sources close to the negotiations believe a compromise can be reached, likely settling on a fee somewhere between the two figures. The coming week is considered crucial for concluding this significant transfer, which could become one of the largest in Israeli football history.
