Inter Milan Nears Closing €20 Million Deal for Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily
A major transfer deal involving Israeli footballer Anan Khalaily is expected to finalize this week. Inter Milan has submitted a €20 million offer to Belgian club Sint-Truiden for Khalaily, but the Belgian side is seeking a higher fee due to strong demand. Napoli has also offered €20 million, yet Khalaily prefers Inter, whose financial strength increases the likelihood of the deal's completion. Khalaily has already agreed to personal terms with Inter, removing any contractual obstacles.
The transfer is anticipated to close soon while Khalaily continues to impress in training. Maccabi Haifa, his current club, awaits the final transfer amount, having retained 15% of any future sale. The Belgian club must first recoup the €7.5 million they initially paid. Ultimately, Maccabi Haifa expects to receive over €2 million from the transaction, bolstering their club finances.
