Inter Milan Nears Signing Israeli Winger Anan Khalaily for Significant Fee

After weeks of speculation linking Anan Khalaily to Napoli, it now appears that Inter Milan will secure the signing of the 21-year-old Israeli winger. Italian media, including Gazzetta dello Sport, have highlighted Khalaily's impressive pace, flexibility, and suitability for Inter's modern playing style under coach Christian Kivuo. Scouts have praised his aggressive pressing, defensive work, and versatility on the wing, drawing comparisons to Denzel Dumfries, who is expected to leave Inter this summer.

Inter's scouting team first noticed Khalaily during a Conference League match between Maccabi Haifa and Gent and have followed his progress closely since. Khalaily's breakthrough came at Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, where he was transferred two years ago for approximately 7.5 million euros. He has since enjoyed a successful season, winning the Belgian league and competing in the Champions League. Inter views his time in Belgium as an ideal stepping stone for his development.

Khalaily has reportedly agreed in principle to a contract with Inter until 2031, with an expected salary of around 1.8 million euros per season.
