Maccabi Tel Aviv Finalizes Roster with Yam Madar Signing for Upcoming Season

Maccabi Tel Aviv has completed a major signing by acquiring guard Yam Madar from Hapoel Tel Aviv, marking a significant addition to the team for the upcoming season. Madar, who was one of the standout players in the recent finals series, is expected to take on a more central role in the EuroLeague this year. This signing follows the earlier acquisition of Bonzi Colson and several contract renewals within the squad.

Currently, there are unresolved issues regarding the second guard position, with some uncertainty as Tamir Blatt has ended his contract with Maccabi and is moving to Hapoel Tel Aviv. Meanwhile, the club is actively seeking a senior center, engaging in talks with Rishon Holmes, while Zach Hankins may remain as the third center. Marcio Santos is set to transfer to LSU, and Shane Hunter has completed his loan period but remains under contract with the club.

The projected roster by position includes Yam Madar, Jimmy Clark, and Amit Abo as point guards; Lonnie Walker and John DiBartolomeo as shooting guards; Oshae Brissett, Bonzi Colson, and Will Rayman as small forwards; Jalen Hood, T.J.
