Jerusalem Babysitter Arrested on Suspicion of Abusing Toddlers
A 49-year-old childcare worker from the Har Homa neighborhood in Jerusalem was arrested on suspicion of abusing two toddlers. According to the investigation, parents placed recording devices in their children’s bags, which led to the case being opened.
Police suspect that she shouted at the toddlers and cursed them. In some cases, she allegedly ignored their crying and needs while they were under her care.
The Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court extended her detention until next Monday, and the investigation is still ongoing.
