The State Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday filed an indictment in Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court against 25-year-old Gur Levi of Tel Aviv, accusing him of indecent acts and violating the privacy of women and teenage girls he allegedly filmed while they were changing clothes in a fitting room at a Tel Aviv store. Prosecutors also say he secretly recorded a sexual encounter with a woman without her knowledge or consent.
According to the indictment, filed by attorney Sapir Sharon of the Tel Aviv District Prosecutor’s Office, Levi went to the Bershka clothing store at TLV Mall in the city, took several items of clothing and entered a fitting room under the pretense of trying them on. While inside, he allegedly used his mobile phone to film adjacent booths where women and girls were changing.
The indictment also alleges that in 2024 Levi violated the privacy of a woman with whom he had consensual sex in a club bathroom in Tel Aviv, recording the act on his phone without her knowledge and consent. Two years later, he allegedly sent her the video on WhatsApp.
Along with the indictment, prosecutors requested that Levi remain in custody until the end of the legal proceedings. The investigation began about two weeks ago after influencer Shir Weiss posted that she had been filmed naked without her knowledge by a stranger while changing in a Bershka fitting room at TLV Mall. Police then circulated Levi’s photo and asked the public for help locating him, and he was arrested shortly afterward.
