After His Photo Was Released, Man Arrested Over Alleged Filming of Young Woman in a Mall Fitting Room in Tel Aviv
A day after police released his photo and asked the public for help finding him, officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station in the Yarkon District arrested a 25-year-old Tel Aviv resident this evening, Wednesday, on suspicion of privacy violations and sexual offenses, after he allegedly filmed a young woman in a fitting room at a mall in Tel Aviv. The investigation against him was opened following a post published about a week ago by influencer Shir Weiss, in which she wrote: "I was documented naked without my knowledge by a stranger who filmed me while I was trying on clothes in a fitting room at the Bershka store in TLV Mall." The suspect was questioned, and tomorrow he will be brought to a court hearing, where police will ask to extend his detention.
