Suspect Arrested After Photo Was Released in Mall Dressing Room Voyeurism Case in Tel Aviv
Police from the Lev Tel Aviv Station in the Yarkon District arrested a 25-year-old Tel Aviv resident on Wednesday evening on suspicion that he photographed a young woman inside a fitting room at the TLV Mall in the city. The arrest was made after the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court issued an arrest warrant against him, and police also circulated his photo to the public.
As first reported by Walla, a young woman filed a complaint saying that while she was trying on clothes in a fitting room at a Bershka store in TLV Mall, she noticed, according to her account, a person photographing her while she was naked. "I saw an iPhone מעל the stall when I was naked," she told Walla. According to her, she immediately shouted, confronted the man, who she said was standing in the adjacent stall, but he denied the act and even offered to let her check his device. "I told him he had probably already deleted the pictures," she recalled.

She also said that after leaving the fitting room she tried to find the security guard, but was told he had gone out to smoke, and meanwhile the suspect left the scene. "I'm sure I'm not the only one," she told Walla, expressing concern that other women may have fallen victim to similar acts.
Following the complaint, police opened an investigation, collected various findings, and later released the suspect's photo and asked for the public's help in locating him. He was arrested Wednesday evening, transferred for questioning, and was detained at its conclusion. The suspect is expected to be brought on Thursday to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court, where police will seek to extend his detention.
