Suspect Arrested Over Serial Phone Thefts at Tel Aviv’s Azrieli Mall
Israeli police arrested a 30-year-old suspect from Dahariya on suspicion of serial thefts of mobile phones at the Azrieli Mall in Tel Aviv. The arrest followed covert surveillance by detectives from the Hebron station, who tracked the suspect inside the mall.
According to police, the man tried to flee through the stores and among shoppers and other visitors before he was apprehended. The operation was carried out jointly by the Samaria and Judea districts and the Tel Aviv district.
Police did not immediately say how many phones were allegedly stolen, but described the case as a series of thefts. The suspect is now in custody as the investigation continues.
