Driver Rescued After Car Plummets 5 Meters Into Jerusalem Garden
Fire and rescue teams successfully extricated a female driver trapped in her vehicle after it fell approximately 5 meters into a private garden in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo on September 30, 2026. Kaed Daher, spokesperson for Arab media in the Fire and Rescue Authority, stated that the teams performed a complex and rapid operation to free the driver from the wreckage. Following her extraction, she was transferred to Magen David Adom medical teams for treatment. Her condition was described as light to moderate.
The incident involved the car falling from a height and landing inside a home garden within the Gilo area of Jerusalem.
