Car Plunges Five Meters Into Jerusalem Garden, Driver Rescued
A female driver was rescued after her car plunged approximately five meters into a private garden in the Gilo neighborhood of Jerusalem on Wednesday. Fire and rescue teams were dispatched to De La Pergola Street following reports of a traffic accident.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the vehicle overturned in the garden, with the driver trapped inside. The rescue team immediately began extraction efforts.
The driver, who was conscious throughout the ordeal, was successfully extricated and handed over to medical personnel. Her condition was described as light to moderate.
Incident commander Reshef Omri Avraham stated, "Upon arriving at the scene, we observed a private vehicle overturned after it plunged from a significant height of about five meters into a yard. We acted quickly and carefully to rescue the trapped driver from the vehicle, and thankfully, we rescued her conscious and transferred her for further medical treatment."
