Rescuers Save Worker Trapped 50 Meters Up in Crane in Kiryat Bialik
Fire and rescue teams, along with a special rescue unit, successfully extricated a crane operator who was trapped approximately 50 meters above ground at a construction site in Kiryat Bialik on Tuesday. According to Kaid Zahir, spokesperson for the Arab media in the Fire and Rescue Authority, the worker had lost consciousness inside the crane's cabin and was experiencing convulsions, with his condition deteriorating upon the arrival of emergency services.
Firefighters, accompanied by a paramedic, ascended to the cabin to provide initial medical treatment. They then carefully lowered the worker to the ground using a rope system. The worker was subsequently transported to the hospital for further medical care and is reported to be in moderate condition.
