Worker Rescued From Crane After Losing Consciousness
An MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency medical team responded to a construction site in Kiryat Bialik on Tuesday afternoon after a worker lost consciousness on a crane approximately 55 meters (180 feet) high. The worker, believed to be in his 40s, reportedly collapsed due to a medical issue.
Paramedic Shi Tesler from MDA ascended the crane to provide initial medical treatment while firefighters worked to extricate the man. Using ropes, rescue personnel successfully brought the worker down.
Following the rescue, MDA paramedics and medics transported the worker via a mobile intensive care unit to Rambam Hospital. He was reported to be in stable condition.
