Crane Operator Rescued After Collapsing 55 Meters Up in Kiryat Bialik
A crane operator lost consciousness in his cabin at a construction site in Kiryat Bialik, approximately 55 meters above the ground. Paramedics suspect a health issue may have caused the incident. The emergency services received a call at 2:19 PM. A Magen David Adom paramedic ascended the crane with medical equipment to provide initial aid to the operator inside the cabin. Simultaneously, firefighters executed a complex rescue operation, lowering the man using ropes. The worker, estimated to be around 40 years old, was transported to Rambam Hospital after being evacuated. His condition is currently reported as stable.
