Eight-Vehicle Crash on Highway 6 Injures 18
A rare, multi-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 6 northbound near the Iron Interchange, involving eight cars and injuring 18 people. All injuries were reported as minor.
Emergency medical services treated the injured at the scene and transported 10 individuals to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera. The initial report was received by emergency services at 9:42 AM.
Police closed the northbound lanes of Highway 6 to allow for accident response and scene cleanup. Subsequently, two of the three lanes were reopened.
Heavy traffic congestion resulted from the closure. Police are currently working to manage traffic flow and complete their investigation of the incident. Drivers are advised to exercise patience, follow police instructions, and stay updated on traffic conditions.
